Home from Home Babies

Babies aged from 6 months to 24 months are cared for in our baby rooms situated on the first floor of the main building. Six rooms, set up for different activities, create a spacious, homely feel. With warm coloured soft furnishings, comfortable carpet and huge sash windows allowing plenty of fresh air and light our babies will enjoy the perfect setting for bonding with our staff.

A ratio of 1:3 plus 2 float practitioners exceeds Ofsted standards and ensures the highest standards of care. Each child follows their own individual routine allowing us to follow the unique patterns and routines from home.

These are discussed in depth during settles over a 4 day period where parents and children get to spend time familiarising themselves with our Home from Home experience and the child’s key practitioner and buddy practitioner.

A wide range of activities are on offer from creative, construction, sensory fun, physical, music/singing and lots more. Time outdoors is part of our daily routine in our Baby Room. Our babies enjoy the garden and trips out and about every day whatever the weather. We provide a specialised weaning menu which supports the different stages in partnership with your wishes.
